Coil Analyzers

  • Product No:SAT Series
  • Manufacturer:IBEKO Power AB (DV-Power)

The Coil Analyzers SAT30A and SAT40A are powerful units ideal for testing of circuit breakers. Substation battery is not connected or available. Coil Analyzers are intended to operate breaker coils. They spring charging motors (SAT40A – AC and DC) as a part of commissioning and maintenance testing.

SAT Series instruments have the possiblity to generate at 230V mains supply and inrush currents up to 30A (SAT30A) or 40 A (SAT40A)

SAT series instruments have very high ability to cancel electrostatic and electromagnetic interference in high voltage electric fields in accordance to EMC standard 2004/108/EC. It is achieved by very efficient filtration. The filtration is made utilizing proprietary hardware and software. The set is equipped with thermal and overcurrent protection

Coil Analyzers – SAT series instruments are powerful, lightweight units ideal for testing of the circuit breakers. Substation battery is not connected or available. The SAT series instruments are intended to supply circuit breaker coils and spring charging motors. It is a part of manufacturing, commissioning and maintenance testing.

Coil Analyzers can perform the current and resistance measurement of the circuit breaker coils. It is made in accordance to IEC 62271-100 standard. SAT series instruments can also perform the minimum trip voltage test mechanism charging time (IEC 62271-100) of the circuit breaker coils.

The minimum trip voltage test is described in several international and national standards such as IEC 62271-100, IEC 56, ANSI C37.09 etc. Other important parameters can be tested with Coil Analyzers. They are compatible with the circuit breaker analyzers from different vendors.
